If you need your activation ID for any reason (e.g. to send to GoldSim Technology Group for a support request or to provide to a colleague to whom you are transferring a standalone license), the quickest way to get it is in the GoldSim License Manager (for a standalone license) or in the GoldSim License Server Activation Utility (for a network license). To do this, follow instructions below. Note that, if you have received an email notification from GoldSim Technology Group at the time of a license purchase or upgrade, you can also find your activation ID in the email.
Standalone Licenses: If you are a standalone license user, first open GoldSim and then go to Help|Licensing.... This will open the GoldSim License Manager. Immediately to the right of the drop-list that displays your activation ID, there is a copy button. Left-click this button to copy your activation ID to the clipboard (see screenshot below). Then, you can paste the activation ID (using Ctrl-V) into an email or into the activation ID field in a support request form.
Network Licenses: If you are a network license user, you may not have direct access to the activation ID for the network license. In this case, contact your license administrator and ask for the activation ID. If you have access to the license server, then open the GoldSim License Server Activation Utility on the server. As in the case of a standalone license, you will see a copy button immediately to the right of the drop-list that displays your activation ID. Left-click this button to copy your activation ID to the clipboard (see screenshot below). Then, paste the activation ID (using Ctrl+V) into an email or into the activation ID field in a support request form.
