Run Properties

GoldSim provides a number of special reserved names, referred to as Run Properties, that can be directly referenced in expressions. You use Run Properties when you need to reference within input expressions internal model variables like the elapsed time, the date/time, and the realization number. The most commonly used Run Properties are ETime (the simulated elapsed time) and DateTime (the simulated calendar date-time). The examples in this model illustrate several uses of Run Properties.

To Open the Model File:

1. Start GoldSim
2. Click on the File and select Open Example...
3. Browse to General Examples --> Running 
4. Select the file called RunProperties.gsm
