This webinar introduces some modeling techniques that should help you make the best use of GoldSim’s features when working with monthly data. If you work with models that use monthly data or need to report results monthly, this presentation should be a helpful introduction or refresher for you. This webinar is also helpful for those of you that need to compare GoldSim results to those of an Excel file. Some of the specific concepts that we will cover are listed below.

• Review some of GoldSim’s run properties (Month, EMDaysInMonth, and others)
• GoldSim data sources (I demonstrate how monthly data can be defined and used in GoldSim)
• Convert monthly quantities to continuous flow rates (this is important especially for calendar-based simulations)
• Interpolate for smaller time steps (useful for models with daily time steps and monthly input data)
