Making the Most of the Pool Element (April 2019)

The new Pool element was added to GoldSim 12.1. If you are considering upgrading your model to this version, there is a good chance you might also need to upgrade your Reservoirs to Pools. There are advantages to doing it and the process is quite simple. This webinar introduces the Pool and its features along with showing how to swap the old Reservoir element out with the Pool. There are some additional steps you need to take in the process of switching to the Pool, including removal of excess elements like the Allocator and summation of inflows and outflows since the Pool is designed to take care of this for you. This webinar is also useful for those that are building new models and plan to incorporate the pool for simulation of dams, reservoirs, ponds, and other storage-type facilities.
