Cooling Water Demand for a Data Center

This model simulates the energy and water usage of a data center based on the number and types of server machines, which can be specified in the input table of the dashboard. Based on average power consumption and projections in utilization, we can calculate water demand based on an assumed baseline water demand on a per kWh basis, otherwise known as water use effectiveness (WUE). Temperature is calculated using the WGEN weather simulator. A temperature factor is used to approximate the increase in water required when temperatures increase.
