This webinar presents the GoldSim implementation of the snowmelt-runoff model WinSRM. The snowmelt-runoff model "SRM", aka "Martinec Model" is designed to simulate and forecast daily streamflow in mountain basins where snowmelt is a major runoff factor. Most recently, it has also been applied to evaluate the effect of a changed climate on the seasonal snow cover and runoff.
Recently, the GoldSim implementation of the snowmelt model has been improved and updated. This webinar introduced the model and demonstrated its capabilities, assumptions, formulations, and limitations. If you have been using this model or plan to use it in the future, it is highly recommended that you view the video recording of this webinar and look at the example model.
Refer to the Snowmelt-Runoff Model User's Manual for more information about the SRM model.
