When I try to return my Desktop Standalone license, I get the following error message:
Reason: 7581; Online return/repair request for the Activation ID
xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx is not originated from the
original client machine.
The license trust is broken and must be repaired before the license
can be returned! For assistance please contact GoldSim Technology Group.
We see these types of issues when the hardware on a physical machine is changed (like replacing the network adapter, for example) and also on virtual machines where the settings are changed (i.e. cloning, resetting, or editing the configuration).
It is important to remember to return the license before making hardware changes or changes to your virtual machine's settings.
