This webinar will show common ways to represent daily precipitation rates using historical data or stochastic models. We will talk about how to summarize the data using reporting periods and Integrators, along with time shifting for future models. Finally, we will discuss some statistical analysis techniques and interpolation. This webinar will focus on the Markov Chain method of representing precipitation over time. After an introduction to the stochastic methodology, I will demonstrate its application in a model called WGEN.
