Lesson 7 - Simulating a Pump Station (Water Management Modeling Series)

This webinar will demonstrate how to build a model that simulates operation of a pump station. To model a pump's behavior, some mathematical expression describing its pump head curve must be defined. In addition to the pump head curve, we must also understand how the pump is being operated. This understanding will help us simulate the pump operations to predict changes in future operating schemes and costs of the system. This webinar helps you build better representations of pump stations in your GoldSim model. The following concepts were discussed and demonstrated:
