Lookup Table Element

Lookup Table elements allow you to define a custom function or response surface that you can use to look-up or interpolate values/results based on an independent variable. You define the lookup table in terms of either one, two, or three independent variables.

You can reference Lookup Tables in the same manner as you would reference built-in functions like sine, floor or minimum functions.

Click on the Edit Data button to view the table.

The lookup table is referenced just like a built-in function. Values between and outside defined table points are calculated by interpolation and extrapolation.

To Open the Model File:

1. Start GoldSim
2. Click on the File and select Open Example...
3. Browse to General Examples --> LookupTable
4. Select the file called BasicTable.gsm
