This webinar will explore how to model various water treatment processes using GoldSim's Contaminant Transport (CT) Module. The session will begin with a brief, high-level overview of the CT Module, which is designed to simulate the movement of mass through complex engineered and natural systems. It allows for predictions of mass transport rates and concentrations in specified environmental media.
The majority of the webinar will focus on demonstrating two approaches for simulating treatment within your GoldSim models. The first approach is to define a treatment efficiency, which represents the fraction of incoming mass that is removed from the system. The second approach involves defining solubilities for species in a treatment tank and removing all precipitated mass from the system.
