Pump Power: Hydraulic Simulation in GoldSim (April 2024)

This webinar will demonstrate GoldSim best practices for simulating pump hydraulics, operations, and energy use. We'll explore operational decision-making along with using a Script element to implicitly calculate flow rate when friction losses are significant. We explore this using an application of pumping water into a tank with an assumed, constant suction head and changing water level in the tank. We estimate the pumped flow rate and losses due to pipe wall friction and bends and fittings.
