This static model calculates the flow rate over a rectangular, sharp-crested weir using the Kindsvater and Carter equation. Given the parameters of Head, Channel Width, Weir Length, and Crest Height, GoldSim will calculate the resulting flow and also check to make sure the inputs meet the recommended criteria for accurate flow measurement. This model is based on the recommendations found in the "Water Measurement Manual" published by the U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation.

I updated this model to only apply "kh" correction if Head over weir is > 0. Otherwise, the resulting effective height (He) should be zero. This will prevent non-zero flows when H <= 0.
