The purpose of this model is to demonstrate time shifting historic data in a Time Series element. The streamflow data was copied from the USGS water data website from the Provo River at Provo, Utah stream gage. Some missing years (early 1930's) were filled in with averages of water data in adjacent years (early 1920's and 1940's) in order to create a single, cohesive dataset for demonstration purposes.
The model runs for 365 days (starting on January 1) with a daily timestep, and 100 Monte Carlo realizations. Every realization, a random January 1 is selected as the starting point for the record.
This type of model makes it easy to show summary statistics like exceedance probability of annual peak flow rate or mean annual flow rate.
