A Random Choice element provides a way to make a random choice of an option which is governed by the overall probability of occurrence for that option. The Random Choice element is triggered. When it is triggered, it emits a discrete event signal from one (and only one) of its options or outputs which is the output that was randomly selected.
Random Choice elements allow an explicit and graphical representation of event trees (processes consisting of specified random event sequences) in your model.
An event signal is triggered once every 10 days. Every time the event signal arrives, one of three events (A, B or C) occurs with probabilities of 0.3, 0.3 and 0.4 respectively.
