A Discrete Change element emits a discrete change signal. The discrete change signal provides the "action" portion of an event - action pair. A Discrete Change element is triggered and uses the standard GoldSim triggering dialog.
The examples below show different triggering methods and show different "actions" received by discrete change receptor elements. The Integrator element and the Reservoir element are the primary discrete change signal receptors. The most common actions are "Add" and "Replace" which are illustrated below.
To Open the Model File:
- Start GoldSim
- Click on the File and select Open Example...
- Browse to General Examples --> Events
- Select the file called DiscreteChange.gsm
