This Webinar walks through some model examples that simulate energy use and its associated costs, based on dynamic demands and electric rate schedules and power. Some challenges in this type of application arise when trying to accumulate costs based on accumulated energy even though prices and conditions are varying through time. Due to the complexity, it is useful to set up decision logic using GoldSim's various function and event elements that walk through the switching conditions.
