This example demonstrates how we can use the Duration output of a Conditional Container to keep track of the age of something inside that container. In this case, we are simulating the process of some reclaimed area being added to a site. We want to keep track of how long this has been happening. The model attached allows you to specify the starting date of the process. When the simulation date reaches the start date you specify, the Conditional Container activates. While active, the Conditional Container automatically keeps track of the duration it is active. It turns out to be a convenient way to calculate ages in cases like these.
The "Using_Integrator" option is there just to show you a different way to accomplish the same thing.
