Multiple Outflows from a Pond

Jason -

This simple model shows one method for allocating competing demands on a Reservoir. The demands are entered into the Outflow Requests of the Pool element individually then the Pool determins their outflow rates based on the water stored and inflow then allocated based on defined priorities.

The Inflow is constant at 150 m3/day. The three demands are each 100 m3/day. Until the pond becomes empty, all three demands are met. After the pond becomes empty, all of the first demand, half of the second demand, and none of the third demand is met.
