Stream Diversion with Instream Flow Requirement

Jason -

This model demonstrates a diversion on stream that is on a weekly schedule, to open for only 72 hours at a time. Once per week, the diversion opens for 72 hours and after the 72 hours is complete, the diversion closes until 7 days later. Note this weekly schedule runs every 7 days, regardless of the current month the day might land in. The diversion is simulated using allocation of the amount available in the stream minus high priority instream flow requirement, which is delivered to meet a defined constant demand. The instream flow and any remainder is added to the "Outflow" expression, which is considered to be the water that flows in the river downstream of the diversion point.
