This model generates design storms for a given storm type, duration, and depth that the user can enter from a simple dashboard. The design storms are all derived from standard SCS 24-hr design storm distributions for 0.1 hour time intervals. If a duration smaller than 24 hours is selected, then GoldSim will transform the distribution into the smaller time frame. Submodels are used to process the 24-hr storm time series to determine variables that are used to prepare the transformed time series output. The result is a storm distribution that is specific to the duration and type specified. As a final step, the storm depth is applied to this distribution to generate the actual precipitation rates through time.

Hi,
I downloaded the file but it isn't working. The file didn't open.
Fooman - I just downloaded it and had no problem opening it in GoldSim 12.1. Are you trying to open it with the GoldSim Player or an older version of Goldsim? If the former the GoldSim Player only opens .gsp files and will not open the full .gsm GoldSim model.

When we try to open it with GoldSim version 14.0, the file only opens if it's a .gsp file and cannot open the complete GoldSim model in .gsp format. In this case, how can we obtain the file in .gsp format? Or what can we do?
