Discrete event selector

Hi. I am new to GoldSim.

In the problem I am trying to model, I have many discrete events, and when one of them triggers, I need to know which one it was.

I could solve this maybe using selector or decision elements together with Occurs(), but given how amazing GoldSim seems to be, maybe there is a simpler solution?

  You need to be much more specific.  There is not enough information provided to understand what you are trying to do.  Can you put together a simple example model?

  I have discrete events A,B,C that fire randomly, and another element D which is triggered by A,B,C but should react to each in a different way. So I need to know which of the discrete events triggered it.

  Concretely, let's say I have three different maintenance actions A,B,C, and an RL component with a failure mode which is affected diferently by these three actions (for example, different acceleration rate for each). In this case, I would need a middle element D which gets triggered by A,B,C and outputs an acceleration rate accordingly, and this output is used in the failure mode.
