Is there any way to model a looping reaction, i.e., species A goes to Species B; and Species B goes to Species A; using a pipe in order to accommodate diffusion between fluid flowing through a flowing fracture and stagnant marix? The reaction occurs only in the fracture and not in the matrix
No. Pipes are solved using Laplace transforms. This makes it mathematically impossible to have such a looping reaction. TO model something like this you would need to manually use a series of Cells to represent the system. I have done this before.
I can send you a model that shows how you could represent a fracture/matrix system using Cells (and compares it to the solution using Pipes).
