Exporting simulation date to Excel via spreadsheet element

I'm trying to export some results to Excel using spreadsheet elements. I have an output in the spreadsheet element for DateTime and an output for an expression element. I have the units for DateTime set to days as suggested here https://help.goldsim.com/index.html#!Modules/5/exchangingdateinformationwithaspreadsheet.htm. 

 

However, there are weird gaps in the final excel file where it isn't exporting the date or the corresponding data. Also sometimes it skips months that show up in the results of GoldSim but for some reason don't make it to excel. A screenshot of my problem is shown below. I should have data once a month, but it skips February 1995, September 1996, among others. I'm not sure what the issue is.

  Atlin,

  Thanks for posting in the GoldSim Community Forum. If you have 1-day time steps in the model and you want to export monthly values, then I would suggest that you enable Reporting Periods and export using a Time History Result element instead of a Spreadsheet element. Enable Reporting periods in the simulation settings dialog.

  

   

  With Reporting Periods enabled, you can configure your Time History Result element to export on the reporting periods:

  

  Please let me know if this works for you.

  I'm guessing that the reason you see blank rows in your case, is because the offset value needs to be an integer and you are running into a rounding issue the the calculation of your offset. Hopefully you can export using the Time History Result element, which is a lot easier for time history data.
