Edit elements from behind the graphic interphase

Hello,

I would like to change the name of a huge number of elements in a model. Is there a shorter way to edit the attributes of a series of elements that makes me avoid clicking to open every container and element every time? I wonder if there is a way to access the database of the elements in a table and edit directly the different attributes of each one.

  Thanks for contributing to our forum! This is a good question and currently, the best solution I can think of for you is to use the search function  by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the toolbar then search for a keyword of the element IDs like in the example shown below.

   

  Then you can double click on the element in the browser window to change the name. After you change the name, you can type F3 to move to the next element and continue that way. 

  Unfortunately, there is no programmatic way to change multiple element IDs at once.
