GoldSim 12 passed certification requirements for Windows Desktop Apps. To pass certification, it means the software must:
- Be resilient and stable and eliminating such failures helps ensure that software is more predictable, maintainable, performant and trustworthy
- Adhere to Windows security best practices
- Support security and privacy features to maintain the integrity of the operating system
- Adhere to system restart manager messages
- Support a clean, reversible installation
- Provide an Authenticode digital signature that allows users to be sure that the software is genuine
- Not block installation or app launch based on an operating system version check
- Not load services or drivers in safe mode
- Follow User Account Control guidelines
- Install to the correct folders by default
