Invalid sheet or chart name when exporting results to a spreadsheet in Scenario Mode

Someone asked why do I receive the following error message when exporting results to an excel spreadsheet in Scenario Mode?

You typed an invalid name for a sheet or chart. Make sure that:
- The name that you type does not exceed 31 characters
- The name does not contain any of the following characters : \ / ? [ or ]
- You did not leave the name blank.

Background:

Scenario results are exported to a different sheet. In particular, the name of the sheet is "Sheetname-Scenarios", where Sheetname is the name that you specify in the dialog.

  Reason for the Error:

  Scenario results are exported to a different Worksheet than the same result in Result Mode. When exporting scenario time history results to Excel, the name of the Worksheet is “SheetName-Scenarios”, where SheetName is the name that you specify. Microsoft Excel requires that the name of any Workbook is limited to 31 characters. If your original excel Worksheet name has more than 21 characters, then the scenario export will try to add a Sheet with a name that has more than 31 characters, thus violating Microsoft's 31 character limit. 

  Solution:
  Change your Excel workbook name to have less than 21 characters before running your simulation in Scenario mode to avoid violating the character limit. Update the Time History elements accordingly to correspond to the new sheet name.
