What OS can GoldSim Player run in?

Here is a good question from one of our customers:

Our client is looking to run the GoldSIM 12.0 player on their server. The server that has been built is Windows Server 2012 R2 (64 bit). They are concerned as the documentation only refers to running GoldSIM on desktop computers. Can you please confirm that the player software will run on the above server platform.

  In general, GoldSim runs on Windows client versions since 7 (7, 8, 8.1, 10) and server versions since 2008 (2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016). The OS must be a 32-bit or 64-bit, and it must be an x86/x64 compatible OS (not Windows RT or any ARM-chip version of Windows.
