The purpose of this model is to calculate the maximum quantity and duration of flow events that occur duing each realization of the model. Even though this model uses volumetric flow rates, you could change it to any type of rate that you want to calculate the integral of over time. To use this model, change the reference in the highlighted Flow_Rate element to include the rate you are using. Currently, the "Threshold" variable is set to zero so that it captures any rate that is greater than zero but you can change this threshold if needed. Each time the rate drops below the threshold, the quantities and durations are reset. Finally, the maximum quantity and duration is captured and shown in probability distributions. Also, screening is used to filter out realizations in which no rate above the threshold is detected.

Hi Jason,
Not sure if this example is available for download?
Thanks
Peter,
Thanks for asking. You should see the download link in the article now. Hopefully you find this model example to be helpful.
