Some customers have asked if it is possible to set a network license server address for multiple machines at once. You may want to do this if users from several different machines need to use the same license server (such as the case may be for a student computer lab at a University) and you do not want them all to have to enter the license server address themselves.
Note that the license server address entered in the Network License Configuration dialog of the GoldSim License Manager (first screenshot below) is stored at the following location in the Windows registry (see second screenshot below): HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GTG\GoldSim\FNP-Licensing.
Because the license server address is stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER (rather than HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE), it is not possible to set the license server address one time for all users of a given machine. As a workaround, you might consider using logon scripts or domain-specific Group Policies as described here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753092(v=ws.11).aspx.
