August - Subsystem Containers

Complex GoldSim models may have hundreds (or even thousands) of elements. In order to manage, organize and view such a model, it is very useful (in fact, essential) to group the elements into subsystems. A subsystem is simply a collection of elements. Subsystems are created in GoldSim by placing elements into Containers. A Container is an element into which other elements have been placed. In a sense, it is like a "folder" or a "box".

Features can be added to containers in order to carry out more advanced functionality within the container. This Webinar will introduce these advanced functions. The topics introduced will include the following:

  • Resources

 

A webinar presented in 2015 goes beyond the discussion of the basic Container to introduce Container options including independent causality sequence, conditionality, internal clocks, and looping.
